alenciennes will sign Emmanuel Ntim
Get French Football News has learnt that officially relegated side Valenciennes will be signing former “Right to Dream” academy product Emmanuel Ntim on a two year contract.
Ntim, 18, typically plays at centre back but sources close to Valenciennes tell us that the soon-to-be Ligue 2 side believe they can use him as both a defensive midfielder and a right back.
Ntim is an incredibly athletic individual, which compensates for his lack of distinct height as a central defender. This, married with his leap and heading ability, means that Ntim should be able to integrate into the first team set up next season.
The player is also blessed with the ability to take both powerful and accurate free-kicks and will be gunning for that responsibility with VAFC in Ligue 2 next season. The deal is a free transfer as the player has not actually been part of a football club yet.
With Ntim, Valenciennes have landed themselves a hard-working player with the determined yet polite attitude to succeed in the 2nd division of French football.
